AtBF Post Isolation Project Clean-Up - 5/26/20
Mike and I picked up 3 bags of trash along 2.5 miles of the Acastus Trail today! We also had a great time doing it. The rangers that saw us were very appreciative. In this post shut down period, we want to encourage all hikers to bring a bag with you and help pick up. The rangers have a lot of other things to repair before the parks' reopening. We can all be part of the solution! Thanks!

Nice to hear from you! I take a trash bag on every hike—but I just can’t make myself pick up tissues or bags of dog poop! Hope to see you soon.

Lol! Bring a glove! It is the Lord’s work!!! Half the stuff we picked up was tissue with a few poop bags and a tampon! Really?? Glad I had a rubber glove. K
Thanks for sharing and bringing me a smile. Nature really does feed the soul. I just got home from volunteering with Friends of Red Rock to pick up trash at the Middle Oak Creek trail and we were delighted to find it pretty clean. I love my fellow hikers who pick up trash too. :-)
Take care and happy hiking,
Judy L.
