Trail Canyon is always prettiest the first time you climb it in the spring. Today, add to that a fresh dusting of snow! ... In May! The Fearsome Foursome climbed Trail Canyon through a winter wonderland at a fairly good pace for one of our first forays into the hills. We're starting to get our mountain legs! Just last evening, this area got a beautiful layer of snow. It'll be gone very soon but we were the first to see it early this morning wanting to avoid possible bad weather starting at around noon. Cockscomb Ridge never disappoints with its craggy landscape and views. Short and sweet!
