The latest is that the fire crossed the road east of the Harris Springs Road turnoff and has burned 6 structures on the Prospect Ranch. This ranch is located off of Harris Springs Road. It seems the fire crews are confident in their defense for Rainbow since they have added a black line on the map for this community. It also seems that the cliffs in upper Kyle Canyon seem to be holding back a lot of the fire. The eastern edge of the fire has now crossed the boundary of the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. When they update the Google Earth map, it will be placed on this site with the trails.
