| Updated Fire Map with Red Rock Canyon NCA Boundaries |
Finally, an updated map was put onto the InciWeb site for the fire boundaries at this time. The fire has crossed into the Red Rock Canyon NCA and is closest to the La Madre ridge just above the La Madre Spring Cabin and Mine hike located behind the White Rock Hills.

The magenta line indicates the official Red Rock Canyon NCA boundary. The dark blue line indicates the La Madre Wilderness within the NCA. And, the light blue line indicates the Rainbow Wilderness within the NCA. The Spring Mountains NRA boundary is not indicated here.

Adding the hiking trails, this map indicates that the spread of the fire (eastward) has not affected our playground for the past two days.
