Six club members did a 6.8 mile hike on North Blue Diamond Hill on a very cool morning. We started up past the upper corral to do Cave Canyon and climbed the ladder. At the fork, we veered left and climbed out at the ending dryfall. The SARS Trail took us to the Boneshaker trail to the left, then it was up to the New Las Vegas Overlook on the Radio Tower Trail. We cut down and connected with the Three Amigos Trail to circle around to the Muffins Trail junction but continued down to the top of Skull Canyon. At the bottom of Skull Canyon (and after a little bit of wash scrambling just for fun) we took the trail back around to the horse corral. The cool weather and good friends made the morning excellent!
Stats: 6.8 miles; 1350' gain; 4 hours
