Picnic Area Trailhead for Moqui Queen

Following Path down Roadside Creek
Approximately 33 miles south of Hanksville, Utah on SR 95, the Moqui Queen resides in a large alcove on the west side of the road. We parked at the Hog Spring Picnic Area and dropped down to the left to hike along the creek next to the road. Soon, we saw use trails climbing up into a very large alcove. Then, there she is! She is exquisite as she sports a jeweled tiara. There are bullet holes in the painting but I have removed them in the photo with the help of Photoshop. I especially liked the dangly earrings! She's my sister spirit!

Stats: 0.5 miles; 55' gain; 0.5 hour
