Taylor Creek - Zion National Park - 5/14/16

Ron and Sandi led two moderate hikes at Zion National Park this week. The first was Emerald Pools / Riverwalk / Weeping Rock on Thursday. The second hike was Taylor Creek / Timber Creek Overlook. Always ready to have fun, Ron and Sandi took seven hikers over to the Kolob Canyon side of Zion National Park off of I-15 where they found the Taylor Creek trailhead on the East Kolob Canyon Road. On their return to Springdale, they could barely contain their enthusiasm for the hike. Definitely a "thumbs up!" After Taylor Creek, they drove up to the Timber Creek Overlook parking and took the short hike up. Between their two hikes, they got 6 miles.

Taylor Creek: 5 miles; 1000 feet elevation gain
